CRAFT & MERCANTILE

  • Craft & Mercantile is a curated night market celebrating local makers & artisans alongside live music + food & drink. Located in the heart of Chester County, our night markets bring local artists and the community together in a unique way (often described as magical). A good time is guaranteed to be had by all with a curated evening of local artisans, food, and entertainment under the stars & twinkle lights:

    Makers Market
Craft & Mercantile represents a refined aesthetic and intentionally curated collection of artists. Shoppers enjoy a thoughtfully produced market comprised of 20-30 curated makers, carefully selected by a qualified jury. Applicants must be hyper-local and craft hand-made, elegant, and unique products.

    Food & Drink
A diverse selection of local food & drink is always available at Craft & Mercantile. Sit down for dinner at a nearby restaurant, grab a snack from the food trucks, sip on beer or cocktails while shopping, and even grab dessert to enjoy while you listen to music.

    Live Music
A celebration of local artists would not be complete without talented musicians. Live music keeps the event entertaining and enjoyable for attendees of all ages and interests.

    Fun for Everyone*
A great community event has something for the whole family. Our custom kids activities are always a big hit with the 12 & under crowd, and offer a way for them to engage in a Craft while their parents enjoy the Mercantile.

“I just wanted to reach out and thank you for allowing me to be a part of the C&M market on Friday. It turned out to be a really awesome night! It was so much fun!!! You guys were very organized and extremely kind & helpful. It couldn’t have been more perfect - from your excellent communication, down to the marketing and the size of the event… even the weather was perfect (haha). It was such a great experience.

This was only the second market I’ve done since being in business and I was able to learn a lot of great things from it. You really have a great thing going with Craft & Mercantile. What you’re doing to help support artists and makers is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found you!! I wish you nothing but success with everything you do and hope to be part of more C&M events in the future. Much love & gratitude.” -Grateful Merchant Co.

“I just wanted to send you a note and tell you that we had a fantastic time at the night market on Friday. It was beyond my expectations! Not only was the crowd ready to shop, which was great, but they were curious and engaged and friendly too. ”C&M will always be the most special market for me. I launched my business in 2021 and could not have grown without C&M. Christy and her team are amazing and they do phenomenal work with marketing and logistics. Everything was well planned and executed. It felt like a big family of vendors and local community. I am super excited about 2022 and can’t wait to be a part of C&M and see it grow and shine. Sending love and my best wishes, Monika.” -Chalktree WAX Candles

”Thank you for all the help this year i’m so glad I was able to meet you in the beginning of spring. It seems like ages ago. You by far are the most well organized events planner I have met throughout my vending events. Keep up the good work 💛 I’m very grateful for Growing Roots and you and I can’t wait to attend more!!” -Terrain Textures

One of my favorite shows! Well curated, well organized, low stress, and super friendly. I started vending here because a couple of my friends were, and I've met so many new friends there! The organizer is very accommodating and receptive, giving us her cell phone number, making sure loading and break down is easy, and even getting her grandma to cast good weather spells, which work. Sales are fantastic, the music line up is never too loud for the vendors, and we have access to real bathrooms and fabulous food and beverage options. It doesn't feel like work when I do these markets! Thanks, Christy” -OnlyInTheForest foraged botanical art

“Christy has to be the best event organizer I've ever dealt with. She has curated some of the best events where I've had the opportunity to be a vendor. I really appreciate how organized things are, which leads to very seamless experiences. The events are always so much fun and we do well! I have already convinced 2 of my vendor buddies to apply to these events. I will continue to recommend them to anyone who listens. Good job C&M Team and continue to do what you're doing!

C&M is one of the most well-run markets I attend. It's clean, well-attended, and boasts an excellent collection of artisan work!” -Ten Air Studios

”Craft & Mercantile markets build such lovely community around supporting the local talented artisans in this area from makers to musicians to food. They really honor the small local businesses in our area. We love meeting new people and catching up with friends and enjoying shopping the markets ourselves as much as sharing our Lavender products.” -Warwick Furnace Farm LLC

”These markets are so well organized and thoughtfully put together from the vendor variety to the food and drink options, crafts, and the music. Every last detail adds to an event that turns into a work of pure magic! As a vendor, it's been extremely helpful to have clear and timely communication, extensive marketing done for the market, personalized marketing images, and such an organized flow from sign up and acceptance to market day. It makes the process so easy and it's an absolute delight to be a vendor at these events!” -Phoenixville Honey

”I was extremely impressed by Christy and the Craft & Mercantile team for putting together such a wonderfully curated event for the vendors and all in attendance. All details were thoughtfully handled, alongside a wide variety of vendors, entertainment and refreshments. Overall a 10/10 experience.“ -Heady Betty's

"I have absolutely loved vending at Craft and Mercantile. Christy, the event planner, takes so much time planning and arranging her successful events. The events are well advertised across multiple platforms and are well organized, with plenty of information and maps sent out to the vendors for the easiest setup time. I have met the sweetest customers and vendors while attending these events, and the musical performers really set the vibe of the market. So excited for many more years of Craft and Mercantile!” -Caitelle

Craft & Mercantile was my first ever market as a vendor and my expectations were blown out of the water! It was extremely well attended, smoothly run and delightful to attend. The vibes were so good and everyone (vendors and customers alike) had a lot of fun! As a vendor and as a customer, I think there is just an energy to Craft & Mercantile evenings that cannot be matched--you have to know it to understand it. I really look forward to the next one and hope to attend again in the future!” -Yellow House Flowers

”After I did my first Craft & Mercantile event this spring I couldn't wait to sign up for my second! Super organized with easy load in and very clear instructions definitely makes for a happy and thankful vendor!” -Vellum Street

"I am so beyond thankful I was able to be part of this amazing event this year. Christy of Craft & Mercantile has done an amazing job to not only promote local artists and makers but to create a space that allows us to showcase our goods to people who appreciate it. Being part of a great market literally makes or breaks a small business. To be part of something this amazing is just wonderful. So lucky and thankful.

Seriously thank you! I feel like you and your team really are dedicated to making sure that all of the vendors do well as well as creating a wonderful atmosphere. Seriously think that your events are the best ones that I participated in this year. Honestly as a small business and as somebody who does this literally to feed myself it means so much to me." -Creations by Marziani

"I want to reiterate what I've said to you in person: the C&M team is the best in the business. Your markets are the most well-organized, well-promoted, and well-curated in which I've participated.

The night markets are an innovative and welcome change in the craft market world; vendors and customers seem to enjoy them more than the daytime events. (I know I do!) And this enjoyment translates into sales. The three markets I did this summer were the best I've had in six years of business in terms of sales, ROI, customer acquisition, networking, and sheer fulfillment. These markets have raised my standards for doing vendor events going forward.” -HENNY FAIRE Co.

”Craft & Mercantile was my first Artisan Market. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience with them. The event was organized from the application process, to the juried decision and the day of the event. It was their attention to details and their pursuit to give purpose-driven small businesses a chance to showcase their craft. The team was supportive, responds quickly and their marketing efforts paid off. The well curated selection process meant a diverse and dynamic merchandise mix. I am lucky to witness a magical event under the stars.” -Miche Scott Handmade

“The markets is one of the best around, from management to clients it creates a fun, enjoyable experience. Great to find high quality crafts!” -Bee our Guest Beeswax Wraps

”Each event was perfect from my stand point. They were very well organized down to each email. Communication was amazing. You did an amazing job Christy! I have zero complaints.” -Shelby’s Squad

”The Craft and Mercantile shows were the best I've sold my knives at. The most well attended. The best organized. The most successful.” -Spring’s Knives
